Health Habits

Hi healthy people, how often we meet that slim and sakcy cousin. So lean, so fit, yet eats all day long. And then you happen to ask them whats the secret behind their slim figures and they are like, "nothing yaar".
Well how does it feel when you are preparing your morning breakfast, two sunny side eggs and two slice of bread. Fine, edit that, make it two slices of brown bread, and then you think, this brown bread is so small in size, let me have three slices , and then you extend you hand towards the packet of bread and then stop. Well that isn't fiction my friends, its exactly what happened to me in the kitchen this am, as i was prepping my own breakfast.
Size, shape, look, colour, height, weight etc etc....Isn't that all we think about when we access someone's health. Isn't it so???? Yes, but no thankyou, stop doing that!! You dont access your health based on all those margins, but on the fact that how neat are you habits inorder to maintain the necessary weight required for yourself, for each of us that is. Wait a minute, im just zooming in on the page display screen of my laptop, old age seems to be kicking in i think, cannot see teeny weeny letters. Yes, so I was saying, Healthy Habits. You got to change the way you look at yourself. How healthy are your habits when it comes to eating. I think for those of us who eat more than we sleep, this holds true. I keep telling myself, i hardly have any chocolates, hardly have any ice cream, then what the fish is filling me up. Its written in bold here  - ( I just got up to go get the book from my mini library), Don't lose your mind. Lose your weight. - by Rujuta Divekar. I've been planning to read this one since ages like. Actually have been planning to do that with all my books, but lets stick the the topic today - Health. Needless to say, eating right will rectify any eating disorder you have.
Walk more, even if its about using the staircase. Eat in breaks. Don't gobble a meal just to make sure you are full enough to put your head down on the pillow and fall asleep. Eat the right things, like you can limit carbohydrates, and eat everything, but in limits. Well by everything i did not mean JUNK food yeah. KalYug hain bhai - Junk food ke bina tho zindagi nahi chalti hai!! Well you 'eat more than sleep' category people know exactly what im talking about.
So i wish for you a good week ahead. Stay safe and eat healthy.

Words & wisdom - borrowed from Dr Brian Weiss Book | Many Lives, Many Masters

How often does a book touch your life? Do you take note of all the wonderful things that you experienced while reading a book? I thought it would nice to write down a few of my favourite notes from this powerful non fiction. If you want to know, then yes I do keep a journal such as this. A book where i note down all the wonderful books read during the year, in addition to these bumper texts. Page 87 …lifetimes measured in lessons learned and tasks fulfilled, not years; charity, hope, faith and love; doing without expectations of return – Page 111 Hathor, I later learned, was the Egyptian goddess of love, mirth, and joy. Page 112 Patience and timing . . . everything comes when it must come. A life cannot be rushed, cannot be worked on a schedule as so many people want it to be. We must accept what comes to us at a given time, and not ask for more. But life is endless, so we never die; we were never really born. We just pass thought different phases. Th...

A mother's cry - Today 8th December being the feast of our lady of Immaculate conception, i wanted to dedicate this post our beloved mother.

She picked up the book, walked to the dining table, pulled out a chair and sat down with a ‘huff’ like noise. She stared at the book like she had never seen anything like it in years. She looked up to Heaven and with tears in her eyes cried out, ‘Lord, when shall you bless my womb’. As if waiting for an answer from above, she looked on for a while. The desire to have a baby is not only an emotional one, but that of a physical one too. God has made a woman in such a manner, that her whole mind and body go through different stages of life before, during and after a baby. It is simply an amazing phenomenon, that cannot be described in a completely just manner. Time passed by, and soon there was a joyful atmosphere at home. The news that was so eagerly waited for was finally confirmed. She was pregnant. Pretty pregnant. The weeks flew by and she was progressing into a healthy pregnancy. At her ultrasound she was given her first picture. A scan picture of the baby. The size wasn’t a ...
