The Tales of a Triumphant Thought

Dear Thoughts,

I am writing to tell you all of the below thoughts, but know well that hope is not lost yet.

Its absolutely harrowing, infact, pathetic to see how many women suffer in silence. But there are situations similar to those, wherein a man suffers too. We arent heading a feminist topic here.

As humans, keeping silent, because of various reasons, starting with society, or unsupportive families, or simply not being able to stand infront of the mirror for our of shame.

Facing the shame of being seen, but not being heard, is a price paid for all the choices one makes.

To be the spouse or the partner, or the offspring of an addiction driven human, is heavy to bear for life. Its easy to say, that its easy to leave, no, never, I couldn’t dare to write that, especially when you are witness to how people suffer mentally, physically, and in so many more ways, when they decide to leave. But then today, im not writing about that, im not writing about that kind of trauma. Simple because one cannot write or judge from the journeys of other humans. We can only and only speak for ourselves. And when we speak from experience, we begin to bring out details from the very depths of our hearts. We realise that, that very experience is what could bring someone else, many other else, worthy feelings of courage, faith, strength, hope….hope of all is the last thing that should never be let go of. Hope is what we begin with, and hope is what our lives end with. The hope of staying alive, the hope that we die too soon.

Coming back to addiction, it is a far worse kind of disease, that has no medication, no chemotherapy, no treatment as such. The only rescue is ‘self control’, and that is by far the most important decision I believe that an addict can incorporate in their lives,, in order to get away from this evil, obnoxious disease. But then, no ones talking about the victim here. The one who succumbs to it all. Who chooses to walk alongside the addicted human.

In sickness and pain, in good and bad, we shall choose to stand strong along, till death do us apart.

How can you repair damaged cells? When googling this questions, here’s what the answer came to;

‘Key strategies include triggering autophagy (cellular recycling) through fasting, eating antioxidant-rich foods, and, in severe cases, using specialized medical therapies like stem cell treatment to stimulate tissue repair.

Now that seems to be quite a solution. But here we are talking about mental health, the non erasable memories, the words received at this end, the unimaginable feelings one had to endure, don’t even begin about, if there were offsprings involved. Someone wants to talk of it as a joke, and can actually have a laugh at the end of their own statement, not thinking of how this enduring soul would feel. We want to talk, but we don’t want to do anything about it. We want to give advice and solutions, but we cannot live those ourselves, it has to be carried out by the enduring soul. Why? Simply because, they chose, because its their lives, because we are related by blood yet we simply cant take those steps that we should be, but don’t due to reasons known to each of us.

What weighs on the enduring soul, is that of a lifetime of shame, guilt, a 24 hour daily cycle of being looked at with despise, nothing stable to look forward to, sometimes, not even a smile. But yet hope keeps the enduring soul going. But you know what stands out? ACCEPTING REALITY. Yes Accepting Reality is what keeps us grounded. That is one attitude that doesn’t allow us to fantasize us into believing that things could change, rather it tells us to accept our reality at the moment, and these kinds of attributes can begin to be a list in your diary, but yet we forget, that slowly but surely, the world is loosing out on this enduring soul. The enduring soul has crossed far beyond, and experienced far too much to handle, seen far too much that could see any more nor hope for a better life. It is upto the enduring soul, how they find the courage to lead a good worthy life, to be able to bring gratitude into their day, everyday, to understand that time passes, no matter what, no matter, that anyone else values it or not, this enduring soul must respect their own time, and move ahead in good spirit. Alas we all are in this journey alone. We are answerable for our own deeds. We can only decide what to do with what is in our power. Nothing else can matter. Nothing else should.

"All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force... We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter."
— Max Planck

Suffering is in our minds. When we let go of expecting, we forsee freedom in our thoughts, or actions, and in our motivation to live life well. It is by far a choice we make to stay, yet to look far beyond one can imagine.

Sunset

"Pictures....they say a 100 things....what does yours say??" I  love photography. Its the best captures I make with my phone. Of all the different aspects of life that I get hold of, this one is specially my favourite - the sunset. Its a priceless time of my day - at sunset. What do I see in it? I dont think its very unpopular among you all. Everyone simply loves watching sunsets or taking pictures of them. What remains and stays with us, is what does that sunset mean to us. I would like to sum it up this way - Photographed by the Author - Giselle Gonsalves My kind of sunset, Makes me feel grateful for today, And gives me a new promise for  tomorrow. -ggwrites The sky looked simply spectacular that day at sunset and I couldn't resist capturing it.

Health Habits

Hi healthy people, how often we meet that slim and sakcy cousin. So lean, so fit, yet eats all day long. And then you happen to ask them whats the secret behind their slim figures and they are like, "nothing yaar". Well how does it feel when you are preparing your morning breakfast, two sunny side eggs and two slice of bread. Fine, edit that, make it two slices of brown bread, and then you think, this brown bread is so small in size, let me have three slices , and then you extend you hand towards the packet of bread and then stop. Well that isn't fiction my friends, its exactly what happened to me in the kitchen this am, as i was prepping my own breakfast. Size, shape, look, colour, height, weight etc etc....Isn't that all we think about when we access someone's health. Isn't it so???? Yes, but no thankyou, stop doing that!! You dont access your health based on all those margins, but on the fact that how neat are you habits inorder to maintain the necessary...

When creativity meets fate!!

Five Star for that lady! Five Stars for this Lady! Well Memoirs are always such an interesting insight into the life of an individual. Not only do they put out, whatever was happening in, rather they topple you over with the nitty gritties of how, when and what, but ofcourse in their own very way.  Well everyone has their own perspective, don’t they?!! Coming back to Zarna’s book review, she’s comic, for a simple reason that she makes you laugh 🤭 until it hurts. Not only laughter, but gratitude real life experiences and real time learning from them is what kept me captivated and I could easily sail through the book with the thought that ‘laughter a day keeps the doctor away’.  📚 This American Woman: A One-in-a-Billion Memoir by Zarna Garg has been making waves, and that’s for absolutely good reason for sure.  https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/221289749
